If you think you've had trouble getting insurance, spare a thought for the poor owners of these supercars.
Average insurance for middle-age man, safe neighbourhood: $1650/month
$1,700,000. This is by far the most expensive street legal car available on the market today. It is the fastest accelerating car reaching 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. It is also the fastest street legal car when tested again on July 10, 2010 with the 2010 Super Sport Version reaching a top speed of 267 mph. When competing against the Bugatti Veyron, you better be prepared!
The insurance for a Veyron (right) is almost as astronomical as its pricetag - £830,000. With a 0-60mph time of 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 253mph, it's a brave insurance company who agrees to cover for this beast. Especially after this crash:
Can't imagion the insurance company were too impressed when that happened :P
Mitsubishi Evo
Average insurance for middle-age man, safe neighbourhood: $950/month
With its huge spoilers the Evo can be a magnet for car thieves. But the real reason it attracts crazy insurance premiums is because it's built to do one thing only - let the driver go faster and corner harder than you'd ever think possible.
Which car would YOU choose?
Enjoy !
The Bugatti Veyron but that insurance amount is quite low compared to the price of the car?
ReplyDeleteBugatti Veyron kinda goes more for meh
ReplyDeleteI would think both of those are thief magnets.. The veyron looks cooler though.
ReplyDeleteferrari 458 is way better than the veyron. I HAVE BOTH IN GRAN TURISMO 5 :D
ReplyDeleteBugatti Veyron, if I drove that I could act like a prick and people would understand why.. =)
ReplyDeleteTHOSE CARS ARE TO DIE FOR.
ReplyDeleteI mean, the one in your header is like...I would trade a guy with eight packs for THAT.
That is insane, but then again, if you can afford those cars, you should be able to afford it's maintenance too.
ReplyDeleteYou can visit my blog here.
bugatti veyron man definately ghaha
ReplyDeletealways been a fan of the veyron
ReplyDeleteIf I was ballin' out of control, I'd go with the Bugatti Veyron.
ReplyDeleteHonestly... who would choose the evo outa them 2 >_<
ReplyDeletemy favorite car: Bugatti Veyron
ReplyDeletedamn, that looks like a huge crash! and that top speed is more than double my car! holy crap!
ReplyDeletebugatti, not the smashed one
ReplyDeleteThe Veyron, if I had the money that is. That car is simply amazing.
ReplyDeleteDamnn son that veyron is so sick ;D
ReplyDeleteWell I am a totally a pansy when it comes to driving, so I think I would take the Evo. The Veyron just screams, crash me going 200!
ReplyDeleteI personally have always been a bit of an EVO fan
ReplyDeleteBugatti Veyron gets my vote.

ReplyDeletePoor owner of a Bugatti... Sure...
ReplyDeletenot sure. hard choice
ReplyDeletewow I'll go for the veyron! It's on top of the league!
ReplyDeletemy entire car and insurance for the year cost less than once month's insurance on either of those lol!
ReplyDeleteIt really hurts to see that car in that shape !
ReplyDeleteThe Bugatti easily
ReplyDeleteI suppose if you can afford one of these cars then you wouldn't need to worry too much about the cost of insurance but that's a hell of a lot to pay each month!
ReplyDeletethat is ridicolous only $500 difference...
ReplyDeletewell if you can afford Bugatti you can easily pay $1650/month
ReplyDeletebuying an audi is one of my life goals
ReplyDeleteI don't mean to cross posts, but how the hell is an evo the same insurance rate as a Spyker? That makes absoloutley NO sense. Plus, I'd rather have a bike :p.
ReplyDeletethe evo, because i'd kill myself in a bugatti
ReplyDeleteI actually like both.
ReplyDeleteThe Bugatti. If I can afford one, Im not worried about the premiums.
ReplyDeleteI fall in love with the "Bugatti Veyron" omg what a car
ReplyDeletethe bugatti just for style!
ReplyDeleteyou're asking which car i'd choose? you realize that there's like a million dollar difference between the two, right? i don't consider the evo a supercar anyway
ReplyDeletegonna go with the mitsubishi Cheaper, and looks better ;]
ReplyDeleteIt's not worth it!!! Insurance is crazy, and people that pay these amounts must be high!
ReplyDeleteThe first one looks so sleeeeek.
ReplyDeleteThe bugati only because i would like a million dollar car.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog, but hard decision haha.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved the Evo in all its forms. The Evo vs Impreza days were great and I think its a great racer and very easy to modify.
ReplyDeleteEvo hands down
ReplyDeleteMy dad owns a Lancer, but here you can't get the Evo :(
ReplyDeletethe insurance for that bugatti is more than what I make in a month
