Auto Insurance Comparison - Bugatti Veyron vs Mitsubishi Evo

If you think you've had trouble getting insurance, spare a thought for the poor owners of these supercars.

Right lets get started:

Bugatti Veyron

 

 


Average insurance for middle-age man, safe neighbourhood: $1650/month 

$1,700,000. This is by far the most expensive street legal car available on the market today. It is the fastest accelerating car reaching 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. It is also the fastest street legal car when tested again on July 10, 2010 with the 2010 Super Sport Version reaching a top speed of 267 mph. When competing against the Bugatti Veyron, you better be prepared! 
 
The insurance for a Veyron (right) is almost as astronomical as its pricetag - £830,000. With a 0-60mph time of 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 253mph, it's a brave insurance company who agrees to cover for this beast. Especially after this crash:

    I suppose if you can afford one of these cars then you wouldn't need to worry too much about the cost of insurance but that's a hell of a lot to pay each month!

    I don't mean to cross posts, but how the hell is an evo the same insurance rate as a Spyker? That makes absoloutley NO sense. Plus, I'd rather have a bike :p.

    I've always loved the Evo in all its forms. The Evo vs Impreza days were great and I think its a great racer and very easy to modify.
